Barbara Jean Fenchak

Barbara Jean Fenchak, Ebensburg. Age 89. Died Dec. 2, 2023 at Home. Born June 26, 1934 in Spangler. Daughter of Cletus and Ruth ( Wayne ) Kirkpatrick. Preceded in death by parents, husband Peter and son Jeff also sister Mary Fenello and brothers Jim, Cletus and Wayne. Survived by children, Brian, Barry ( Kathy Larsen ), and Debbie (Tony ) Brawley. Nine grandchildren. Sister of Jack, Jerry, Ruth Johnson, Bernie Byrne, and Kathy Verchick. Barb was an active member of the United Church of Christ. Barb will be most remembered for her devotion to her grandchildren and her love of feeding her family and friends. There was always a welcomed seat at her table and an apple pie to take home. A heartful thank you to Abby and Melanie from Windber Hospice, and Mandy from Interim Home Health for their devoted care. At Barb’s request there will be no public visitation. Burial will be at a later date at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Funeral arrangements by the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
