Bernice Kirsch

Bernice Kirsch, Colver, Age 92. Died Sept. 20, 2024 at Maple Heights, Ebensburg.  Born Jan. 5, 1932 in Colver. Daughter of Andrew and Mary (Stefanick) Hartack. Preceded in death by parents, husband Charles Sr. and brother Jim Hartack. Survived by children, Charles Jr., Portage; Alan and wife Peggy, Colver; and Cheryl Kirsch, Ebensburg. Five grand daughters, seven great grand sons and one great-great grandson. Sister of Shirley Snyder and Dolly McHugh both of Ohio. Retired Office Manager of the Colver General Store. Bernice loved visits to her family, an avid reader, enjoyed the casinos, was a sports fan especially the Steelers and working on her computer. Friends will be received Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral mass 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Church, Colver , Fr Chris. Internment Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
