Donna Revesz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Donna Revesz, who peacefully left this world on March 10, 2025, at the age of 83. Surrounded by her loving family, she departed this life with the same grace and strength that defined her time with us.

Born on August 29, 1941, in Colver PA, Donna lived a life devoted to faith, family, and love. She married John Revesz in 1958, and together they built a warm and loving home, raising seven children with unwavering care and guidance. A true homemaker at heart, Donna poured her love into every meal she prepared, every stitch she crochet, and every hug she gave. Her home was always filled with laughter, the aroma of home-cooked meals, and the comforting feeling of belonging.

Her greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in watching her children grow, and her love only deepened as her family expanded with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna enjoyed cheering from the sidelines at her five son’s wrestling matches.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the unconditional love she showed to everyone who crossed her path. Her legacy lives on in the lessons she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband John and two sons John and Joe. She is survived by her children, Lynn/ Albert/ Porter, Daniel/Jennifer Revesz; James/Robin Revesz, Donna/Karl Malkin, Michael/Kathleen Revesz. Her 23 grandchildren, ; and her 22 great-grandchildren, along with many other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

A service to celebrate Donna's life will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday, March 14, from 9 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., Fr. Brian Warchola, at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Homes, Ebensburg. Interment, St Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Colver Fire Department. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit and love will forever guide us. Rest peacefully, Donna. You were the heart of our family, and you will always be cherished.
