Joann J. McKotch, Ebensburg. Age 91.Born Aug. 18, 1934 in Barr Twp. Died May 15, 2026 UPMC Altoona. Daughter of Alba and Gertrude (Ondriezek) Stephens. Preceded in death by parents, husband George McKotch, brothers and sisters, Ruth, Betty, Harold and Paul. Survived by children; Marion (Bill) Luther; Anna Plowman; George (Martha ) McKotch and Sandie Wojcik and sister -in- law Janet Kokel. Grandchildren; William and Matthew Luther; Michael and Mark McKotch; Carrie Gordon, and Chad Plowman; Max Wojcik. Numerous greatgrandchildren and One great-great granddaughter. Retired from Jo Ann Dress Factory, Ebensburg with 39 years’ service. She was a talented seamstress as neighbors would bring clothes to be altered. Was an avid baker for her nut rolls and everyone always requested her fudge. Former member of the Banner Grange Hall making hoagies and working their booth. Former member of Holy Family Church Sodality. Loved gardening and canning their produce. She was a devoted wife to George for over 70 years and loved her family and grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Colver. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Colver.
