Linda Jean Thir, Mineral Point, Age 75. Died Dec. 23, 2024 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born July 15, 1949 in Johnstown. Daughter of Alexander and Louise ( Urban ) Slezak. Preceded in death by parents, infant brother Jacob and niece Katherine . Survived by husband Donald who were married on July 26, 2008. Sister of Theresa ( Earl ) Birch, Patricia Slezak, Barbara ( Joseph ) Carrier and Michael ( Louise ) Slezak. Niece Kim ( Douglas ) Shroyer, nephew Kevin Birch, several great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew. Graduate from Johnstown High School class of 1967, Retired Personal Caregiver. Friends will be received Saturday from 9 a.m till mass time at 10 a.m. at St. John  Vianney Church, Mundy’s Corner, The Rev. Timmothy Harrison. Internment Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Funeral arrangements by the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
