Neil Harteis

Neil Francis Harteis, Northern Cambria. Age 55. Died June 20, 2025 at home. Born Oct. 22, 1969 in Johnstown. Son of William and Nancy ( McDowell ) Harteis. Preceded in death by father, brother William Todd, and niece Corrine Harteis. Survived by daughter Bailee Saylor, Mother Nancy; Becky ( Mark ) DeYulis; Dana Kovash; Sister-in-law Colleen Harteis all of Ebensburg; Carrie ( Doug ) Miller, Cecil, PA.  Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Certified and experienced underwater welder and member of the Carpenters Union. Graduate of Central Cambria High School 1987 and Vo Tech Masonry Program. Everyone knew Neil as an avid outdoor man, who spent many years living  in Alaska. He was  a great friend and had the biggest heart. Friends will be received Thursday in the Holy Name Narthex Ebensburg from 10 a.m. till time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday.  The Rev. Brian Warchola.
