Ronald Clair Crawford - Revloc, Age 89, Passed into new life March 4, 2024 at Hilltop Healthcare Center, Altoona, Pa. Born in Belsano August 11, 1935. Preceded in death by Mother & Father, Erma Grace (Bracken) Crawford and Dale O. Crawford, Brother and Sister-in-Law Richard D. and Gaynelle (Sneddon) Crawford, Sister-in-Law Anne (Turnbull) Crawford (Thomas E.), and Grandson Ronald Colin Crawford. Survived by Brother Thomas E. Crawford of Roaring Spring, and former wife Shirley (Spicher) Crawford, Son Ronald E. Crawford, Daughter Tammy Jo Moore (Bob) all of Ebensburg, Sons William W. Crawford (Tina) and Gerald P. Crawford (Linda), both of Hanover, Pa., Alan D. Crawford, Pittsburgh, and Matthew D., Maryland. 8 grandchildren, Justin, Stacy, Kelly, Richelle, Patty, Max, Avi and Ethan, and 8 great grandchildren. A 1953 graduate of Blacklick Township High School, Physics / Math major at St. Francis College, Ron was a Professionally Licensed Land Surveyor since 1963 and served as a surveyor and or Chief Photogrammetrist and or Real Estate Appraiser for the following: Hegemann & Wray Consulting Engineers, L.R. Kimball Cons. Eng., G&O Mapping, TVG and Assoc., Co-Founder of CPS Surveys. Ron was an avid baseball fan and a coach for the Engineers little league team. In his younger years, he played on area softball teams and bowling teams. As for golfing it was said he could drive the ball a country mile, but which country it landed in was anyone's guess. He was most happy in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and had many adventures in Alaska, Maine, Vermont, South Dakota, and Quebec. He was successful on a Pennsylvania elk hunt at age 78. He held a special place in his heart for The Outer Banks, North Carolina. Ron always had a joke for every subject and situation. Ron was a huge fan of Country Music especially that of George Jones and that he had the pleasure to meet him personally. Ron was a member of the Colver Sportsman's Club, and the American Society of Photogrammetry. At Ron’s request there will be no public visitation.
