Shirley (Semelsberger) Eckenrode

Shirley (Semelsberger) Eckenrode, Ebensburg, Age 92. Born May 19, 1932. Died Aug. 20, 2024 at home. Daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (McNulty) Semelsberger. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceded in death by her husband Bernard, sisters Alice Stock, Vivian Yaronczyk, and brother William. Survived by children, Garry  (Rose Ann); Barry (Linda); Kathy (Jim Getz ); Bernie (Mary Beth); Sharon (Gary Makosy); Douglas and Susie (Mike Orsavsky). She enjoyed watching her 17 grandchildren grow along with her 22 great grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Name Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Brian Warchola. Internment Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
