Theresa A. Thomas

Theresa A Thomas, Ebensburg, Age 90. Died Nov. 23, 2023 in Johnstown. Born March 18, 1933 in Snowshoe. Daughter of Michael and Pauline (Zatek) Panick. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jerome “Jerry”, son Jerome,  brother’s Paul and Michael, and infant sister Mary Ann, son-in-law Gary Bartlebaugh and sister-in-law Loretta Panick. Survived by children Karen Bartlebaugh, Mineral Point; Roxanne wife of Randy Sickles, Ebensburg; Grandchildren Danielle (Nathan) Bennett; Jason Bartlebaugh and Jacob Sickles. Sister of John (Ruth) Panick, Portage. Theresa was a faithful member of Holy Name Church. Member of VFW auxiliary post 4963 and Women of the Moose Chapter both of Ebensburg. She also loved Bingo, the Steelers and the Pirates. Friends will be received at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass  1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holly Name Church, the Rev Brian Warlhola. Internment Holy Name Cemetery.  Special thank you to the staff members in the ER and ICU of Conemaugh Hospital and paramedics of the Ebensburg Area Ambulance Association.
